The longest we queued up for was around 20 minutes which was for the batman ride and is well worth it. Not only could you get around the park without holding hands with the strangers next to you, but you could actually hear the little details placed around rides, in particular the queues. This time we arrived outside the holidays and it made the entire day more enjoyable. After waiting for two rides, we decided to call it a day and return at a later date. If you have the freedom to go during school terms make sure you do. We first arrived on the NSW school holiday, big mistake. Great entertainment for the whole family but plan ahead so you get to queue for the show entries in plenty of time then schedule your rides around that. There seemed to be plenty of rides for the little ones but teenagers would be the ones who get more value for money. The Stunt Cars were the highlight closely followed by the Road Runner show in the theatre. I would not recommend this ride for under 10 year olds and definitely not the first ride of the day. Name suggests frightening by anything other than speed and jolts. Nevertheless we both survived and further rides were undertaken that day! The Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster. Don't know whether this contributed to the jolts. We were seated in the rear seat of four person car whilst two rather large teenage males were in the front. As the Pop I was surprised that the ride was advertised as suitable for children over 110cm upwards. We were not expecting the sudden jolts and speed which really frightened the little one. Thought the Scooby Doo roller coaster would be a good choice as the first ride of the day. The website suggested a variety of activities justifying our decision to go. Took our eight year old grandson so the high thrill rides were not on our agenda.
